This app is designed to accurately determine your click-through rate. Click speed is typically measured in CPS (clicks per second). CPS is calculated by dividing the number of clicks by time. While you can manually count and measure clicks using a stopwatch, the results are not as precise as the automatic test provided by this app.
What does CPS-Test offer?
- Accurate click measurement
- Click-through rate graph after each test
- Your click rate history
- Click speed levels after each test
CPS-Test displays a chart that shows the change in click speed over time during the test. This feature is particularly useful in detecting muscle fatigue during prolonged testing.
What is considered a good click speed?
An average person can easily achieve a clicking speed of 5-7 clicks per second for 10-60 seconds using conventional click techniques. Click speeds higher than 7 are considered good results and can be achieved by ordinary players in a short-term trial. A click speed of 10 or higher is a particularly excellent result that usually requires advanced skills and cannot be achieved with conventional click techniques.
Click Techniques
There are several methods to improve click speed:
- Regular Click (Butterfly Click): Similar to clicking on a PC, this method involves natural and straightforward clicking. However, this technique typically reaches a maximum click speed of 5-8 for ordinary players.
- Butterfly Click: Utilizing two fingers on the mouse button, this technique allows continuous clicking with both fingers, resulting in professional gamers achieving up to 30 clicks per second. It is most effective when using a mouse that allows double-clicking.
- Jitter Click: Jitter clicking is another method to increase click speed, but it requires more training. It involves forcing the hand into a position where the mouse clicks and quickly pressing the mouse button with the finger, resulting in rapid shaking of the hand. This technique is difficult to aim with, requires non-slip mouse buttons and desktop surfaces, and benefits from low DPI, heavy mice, and good pads. Maximum click speed typically ranges from 12-20.
- Drag Click: Unlike the previous methods, drag clicking relies heavily on the mouse you use. This technique generates clicks by dragging the finger on the button, creating vibrations that can only occur with rough or non-smooth button surfaces. Not all mice can execute this method effectively. The click speed achieved through drag clicking is highly dependent on the mouse and can reach up to 100.
- Autoclick: This method involves programming the mouse to click quickly. Many programmable mice allow attaching scripts to specific buttons. Additionally, there is software available that can automatically click any mouse or keyboard. Theoretical maximum click speed with an auto-clicker is 1000 (with a 1 millisecond pause time), but game monitoring systems usually detect lower click speeds. It's important to note that using autoclicking scripts in online games is considered cheating and is illegal in most cases. Engaging in such practices may result in a ban.
Please refrain from using autoclicking methods online to comply with game rules and avoid penalties.
